Yoga Etiquette
- Arrive on time please. No late arrivals or early dismissals.
- If an emergency requires you to leave, please leave and re-enter between postures.
- Please come to class clean, and free of perfumes, colognes, or scented oils.
- Please remove your shoes and place them on the shelves, underneath the bench or in the dressing rooms.
- Avoid “snapping” your mat as you unroll it.
- Only clear, colorless liquids are permitted in the studio. Please leave other drinks in the lobby.
- Please bring an extra towel to clean your area after class.
- If you tend to sweat a lot, you can place your wet towel in an extra plastic bag you've brought to class.
- Avoid leaving a "trail" of sweat as you leave class.
- If you do two classes in a row, please use a fresh towel for each class.
- Remember to take your belongings with you after class.
- Place empty water bottles in recycle bin, trash in the waste basket, and rented towels in the towel bin.
- After class please leave quietly and avoid dripping sweat on students choosing to remain in savasana.
- Please close the door quietly.
- No open wounds!
- Please do not come to class if you are ill.
- Please refrain from talking during class. Only the teacher should be speaking.
- Please leave cell phones, pagers, handbags and personal belongings in designated areas outside the studio.
- Teachers are available to answer questions before and after class.
